Conference Venue
The conference venue is the Department of Economics and Business Studies (DIEC), University of Genova, Italy. The address is Via F. Vivaldi, 5 – Darsena – 16126 Genova, Italy.
DIEC is located in the Old Port area of Genova, in the Old Town, close to transport connections and many city attraction, in particular, it is next to Galata Museo del Mare.

The conference venue is a short walking distance from the metro (Principe) and from the main railways station of Genova which is Genova Porta Principe.

How to get to the ODS 2019 venue
By plane
From the Airport of Genova, you may get the conference venue by VolaBus, a bus service from/to airport to the center of Genova, or by taxi.
The closest stop to the conference venue is Piazza Acquaverde/Principe FS, next to the railway station Genova Porta Principe.

By train
The Piazza Principe railway station is the closest one to the conference venue. DIEC can be reached from P.Principe station by la ess than 10 minutes walk (see the map below).
You can also reach the conference from the other main railway station, Genova Brignole, then taking there the metro and getting off at the Principe Metro Station or at the Darsena Metro station (6 minutes walk from DIEC).
By car
For people coming from Milano by A7 motorway or the east side of Liguria (La Spezia) by A12 motorway, the suggested exit is Genova Ovest; then take the downtown (centro) direction and follow Via Milano, Via Adua, Via Buozzi and then Via Gramsci. For people coming from Torino by A26 motorway or the west side of Liguria (Savona, France) the suggested exit is Genova Aeroporto; then take the downtown (centro) direction and follow Via Guido Rossa, Lungomare Canepa, Via Milano, Via Adua, Via Buozzi and then Via Gramsci. There are several toll parking facilities in the area (e.g., the Aquarium parking), but note that parking may not be easy as the Old Port area is almost always crowded. A suggested option is to use the parking facilities located in the Old Port (Porto Antico).
